Monte Plata

The Eva May Russell School in Monte Plata began in the 1980s in a former chicken coop before becoming part of the Kids Alive ministry. For nearly 30 years, it has grown to provide holistic care and education to 210 students, ranging from age 4 through 9th grade. Located in Monte Plata, the third poorest province in the country, the school serves some of the most vulnerable families in the community.
