Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty in the Dominican Republic.

For 8 hours a day, children are cared for my multidisciplinary, Christian staff members. Our schools go far beyond classroom instruction. Schools offer individualized learning plans, special education support, and multidisciplinary teams that include teachers, tutors, and counselors.

We care for children’s basic needs because a healthy body lays the foundation for growth and learning.

Every child receives daily nutritious meals, clean water, and regular medical and dental care. Through our Supplemental Nutrition Program, we provide extra support for those struggling with malnutrition.

Children also enjoy sports, recreation, and motor-skill activities that build strength, confidence, and healthy community.

Children are created to flourish in relationship.

At school, students build healthy connections through teamwork, after-school sports, and care from safe adults. Our social workers and parent-school programs support and strengthen families through workshops, home visits, and practical assistance when needed.

Many of the children we serve have experienced trauma, loss, or instability. Our TBRI-certified staff, counselors, and psychologists provide trauma-informed care, helping each child find safety, healing, and trust.

Through individual counseling, family therapy, and consistent, loving relationships, children begin to understand their value and develop healthy ways to express emotions and resolve conflict.
