ANIJA School
ANIJA School became the first official Kids Alive school in the Dominican Republic in 1989, establishing a program to support children in Jarabacoa. Now the largest of seven Kids Alive schools in the country, it serves over 440 students from preschool to ninth grade, offers a weekly high school discipleship program, and runs a large after-school sports program for hundreds of youth. A newly opened middle school campus for grades 7-9 provides space for future expansion to include grades 10-12.

Current Ways to Pray
-
Pray for our teachers and staff dedicated to serving our students. Pray that as they care for children and youth, God would grant them strength and patience while also carrying their own challenges and struggles.
-
Pray for wisdom and guidance as we create individual plans to support students in their academic, social, and physical growth.
-
Pray for spiritual growth and clarity as we live out our hope in Christ together and recognize how our school fits into God’s greater Story.
-
Student Champions – Pray for provision of sponsors for the 8 students who have never received a Student Champion, so each child receives encouragement and support.
