Christmas in the DR
Christmas across our Dominican Republic ministries is a joyful and meaningful season for our children, families, and staff.
Students celebrate with music, skits, games, special meals, and shared moments that fill our schools and residential homes with laughter, memories, and reflecting on all God has done this past year.
Parents and families are welcomed onto campuses to watch their children perform, hear Scripture, and sing familiar Christmas songs that point hearts toward the birth of Jesus.
Families were welcomed to a joyful celebration as each grade presented a themed song highlighting the nativity story and the birth of Jesus.
Parents and families gathered to enjoy Christmas songs and skits prepared by each grade, celebrating the hope and joy of the season together.
Teachers and students dressed in their Christmas best! Classes shared special music and dance with the rest of the school.
Each year, every student receives three Christmas gift bags—two filled with clothing for their household and one with sweets, apples, and candy. After a year of collecting donated clothing, this joyful day brings blessing and encouragement to families in the Caraballo community.
Each class prepared a skit or song to share with the rest of the school. Pictures here, each student wrote a burden they carry, and “Jesus” (in white robe) arrived to take their burdens.
Teachers and staff prepared songs for students to participate in during their Christmas fiesta.
Through Scripture, song, and dance, students shared the joy of Christmas with the school community, and each child received a special Christmas gift on the last day of classes.
On our residential campuses and within programs like Club Uni, Christmas is celebrated by shared dinners, games, gifts, and gratitude.

This season is an incredible opportunity to reflect on the “indescribable gift” of Jesus – God made flesh – who came into the world that we might know God and enjoy eternity with Him! We are grateful for the opportunity to daily share this good news with thousands of children, their families, and by extension, entire communities across the Dominican Republic.
