Santo Domingo North School

Santo Domingo North School (MIANCERG) is located on the western side of the nation’s capital. The program was founded to address the urgent need for education in an impoverished and violent barrio where many children were not attending school in their early years. Today, the school provides free Christian education to 240 students, from ages 3 through sixth grade, and offers an afternoon discipleship program for middle school youth.

Despite being near a major city, the community struggles with limited access to education, healthcare, and social services. It is marked by broken families, a weak church presence, high rates of teenage pregnancy, single-parent households, and extreme poverty. The school serves as a beacon of hope, offering stability and support to the children and their families.

fall news Highlight:

Starting this fall, Santo Domingo North is expanding to 7th grade!

At the request of the Ministry of Education, our students can now continue learning and growing in a safe, Christ-centered environment from preschool through middle school—a huge step forward in keeping young people on track academically and spiritually in one of the capital’s most challenged communities.
