Independence Program

Group of diverse young adults sitting at tables, watching something, with expressions of interest and engagement in a classroom setting.

Prepared for a life of independence and service.

The Kids Alive Independence Program exists to help youth thrive as they transition into adulthood. Designed for those with strong testimonies and clear goals, the program offers support for university studies, vocational training, and life skills development.

Currently, 80–85 students receive university scholarships, with new applications each year. Over 150 youth have completed our 14-week Job Skills/Life Skills Course which covers financial literacy, budgeting, and responsible decision-making. For those coming out of residential care, we provide transitional housing and personalized counseling to guide the journey toward independent, Christ-centered living.
