An Update from

We are excited to share that, as announced by Kids Alive International on January 5, 2026, the ministries in the Dominican Republic are moving forward with the formation of a new, independent U.S.-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
This transition is expected to be completed by July 1, 2026. We look forward to sharing more information about the new organization soon!
This decision comes after thoughtful prayer and collaboration, reflecting a clear, confident step toward strengthening the ministry’s long-term focus and impact.
Overview
What is not changing:
The ministry on the ground remains the same. The same missionaries, Dominican leadership, staff, programs, and commitment to Christ-centered, holistic care continue serving children and families across the Dominican Republic.
What is changing:
U.S.-based organizational oversight will transition to a new nonprofit organization in the coming months to support long-term clarity, stability, and sustainability.
We look forward to sharing more information about the new organization soon!
For donors:
No action is needed at this time. All gifts designated for the Dominican Republic will continue to support the ministry throughout the transition period (January–June 2026).
