Park: Staff kick-off

What a joy to gather all of the staff together for Park School’s annual staff kick-off meeting! Before the new school year, the Park School organizes a day of encouragement, preparation, and fellowship.

The morning began with worship and devotions led by staff at the school, followed by sessions with regional ministry leaders on the mission and values of Kids Alive DR, the benefits of employment with Vida Para Niños, and important policy updates. 

The day also included plenty of laughter with team-building games like the “human knot” and the much-anticipated rifa! (raffle).

Staff shared reflections on what they love most about serving at Park School, a reminder of the deep calling behind their work.

Many staff members have given decades of their lives to this ministry, persevering through hardship and rejoicing in the transformation they’ve witnessed in countless students and families.

These staff who have accomplished milestones of 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service were recognized by the regional staff of Vida Para Niños (Kids Alive DR).

In Caraballo, a community facing both material and spiritual challenges, the kickoff renewed the team’s commitment to serve with compassion and faith, ready to welcome students back with joy and hope.
