Meet the Director: María

This school year, we are excited to introduce María Reyes as the new General Director at Constanza School.

María brings with her nine years of experience at Kids Alive, during which she has exemplified faith, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to both education and the ministry.

Coming from a humble, God-fearing family, María has dedicated her life to serving students while continuously growing both professionally and spiritually.

Her journey at Constanza School began in 2017, where she initially served as an assistant to a 2nd-grade teacher. Over time, she took on more significant roles, moving from teaching 2nd grade to 4th and 5th grades, all the while embodying the belief that teaching is defined not by degrees but by love, practice, and dedication.

María's career at Constanza School flourished as she embraced new opportunities and took on leadership roles. She transitioned into teaching Social Sciences to 7th-grade students, which was a natural fit for her expertise, and her commitment was quickly recognized when she was offered the position of academic coordinator for secondary school.

After a year in that role, María was called to step into the position of General Director. She reflects on her journey with gratitude, saying, “I prayed fervently for God to send someone who truly loved the ministry,” and she now sees her position as part of God’s perfect plan.

María’s leadership continues to inspire, as she remains committed to professional growth and spiritual development, guiding Constanza School with a heart of service and a deep faith in God's purpose.
