Dia de las Madres

This past Friday, Park School was filled with love, laughter, dancing, and celebration as we welcomed our mothers to the school to celebrate Dia de Las Madres in the Dominican Republic!

The celebration kicked off with student presentations—mostly lively and heartfelt dances that had everyone smiling. The joy in the room was contagious as each performance showed just how much these kids adore their moms.

After the performances, a few fun prizes were given away, adding to the excitement of the day. The event wrapped up with lots of photos, capturing sweet memories of mothers and their children beaming with pride.

This event was a beautiful demonstration of our goal for Kids Alive students to live in a family where they are safe and loved. Nurturing the relationship between mothers and children is crucial to the development of safe families for our students.

We are grateful for a special way to honor the incredible women who do so much every day.

Happy (belated) Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms in our community!
